Amy So

Position title: Undergraduate Student

Pronouns: She/her/hers

I am a senior majoring in Psychology and plan to pursue my Ph.D. in child psychopathology after my undergraduate studies. I am well versed in working with children as I have been a camp counselor for three years and am a volunteer teacher at the Wisconsin Institutes of Discovery. My research interests comprise how biological and environmental factors contribute to language acquisition, mathematical reasoning, and social interaction in youth development. My career goal is to help children and adolescents by identifying factors that affect development and improving intervention techniques. I hope to disband the stigma of mental illness by interacting with the next generation and their caregivers.
